Perfect location if you want peace and quiet
We’ve had a great stay, the pictures didn’t do the place justice. It’s even better in real life! Perfect location if you want peace and quiet but only a 5 min boat trip (taxi boat) to Portimão beach.
An excellent stay in a luxurious property
Positive:
There's much to commend this property, even before you enter the front door – the location is perfect, both for the main beach in Ferragudo, Praia Grande and for this picturesque town itself. The pre-stay communication was thorough and full of information and when I met the reception staff, they were absolutely excellent, very helpful and with faultless English. When the occasional housekeeping issue arose, it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I also had a garage space with this property, which was a bonus. The apartment is huge, with a very large lounge/dining area, well-equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom downstairs and by means of an impressive spiral staircase, and additional bedroom, bathroom and utility room. An absolute pleasure to stay here.
Negative:
I can't actually fault the accommodation, but if you have an aversion to hills or steps, Vila Castelo Parque and Ferragudo itself probably isn't the place for you.

Perfect location. Beautiful Villa with picturesque views. Roof top in the Penthouse is an added bonus - sunrise and sunset - glorious. Plenty of restaurants - excellent variety.
Short stroll to beach or town.
Locals are so friendly and helpful.

Quite a few steps to get to accommodation from the car park.
Not too much of a problem - only when carrying luggage to and from.
